Javier Rivera-Linares graduated in architecture from the School of Architecture of Valencia with a specialized degree in Urbanism. In 2015 he obtained a doctorate with cum laude recognition for his research “Towards a new landscape identity”. His investigation field is fed by his participation as a foundational Paisea International Landscape Architecture Magazine editorial team member. He combines his research, participation in seminars, and theory conference discussions on landscape architecture with professional practice in the topic. In this matter, he is a founding partner of the office in architecture, urbanism and landscape architecture rsr_arquitectes, where his work has been published in different media and has achieved critical recognition. Finally, since a year ago, he has also been part of the multidisciplinary collective of professionals in La Paisatgeria.
